Ashley Tisdale Engaged to Boyfriend Christopher French?
Ashley Tisdale is reportedly engaged to boyfriend Christopher French following an elaborate proposal on Thursday.
The 28-year-old actress added to the speculation after posting a jubilant message to Twitter.
"Best night of my life," Tisdale posted on Thursday night. "We're on top of the world."
The tweet falls in line with reports that indicated French had proposed to the actress atop New York City's Empire State Building on Thursday.
"It happened on the 103rd floor at the top of the Empire State Building," a source close to the couple told Life & Style magazine. "It was totally romantic and Ashley's over the moon, of course!"
On Friday, Tisdale cryptically tweeted a message about shopping without noting if wedding dresses would be a part of her outing.
"Excited to run around and have a shopping day in nyc!! Woo hoo," wrote the actress.
Tisdale and French, a musician, have been dating since last year.
Tisdale also has a lot to celebrate when it comes to her career. The "Suite Life of Zack & Cody" star was recently cast in "Left Behind" alongside Nicholas Cage.
"I'm super excited to be doing a movie called 'Left Behind' with Nicholas Cage," said Tisdale speaking to Hollywood Crush in April. "I play his daughter, and it's a drama, so it's completely different from [the comedy 'Scary Movie 5']."
"I've always loved drama and comedy," the actress added. "But I think it's good to switch it up to show your range."
In the past, Tisdale has also appeared in the "High School Musical" film series as well as the movie "Scary Movie 5." The actress is also a singer and has released two albums, Headstrong and Guilty Pleasure.
