There has been barely anything to separate these two teams in any of the first four games of their American League Division Series, and the series has gone back and forth in this seesaw battle. But something will have to give way tonight with only one team progressing in the postseason calendar, and the other facing heartbreaking elimination.

Both teams will be going all out to win this one and will likely be sending out their best arms; Jason Hammel for Baltimore, and C.C. Sabathia for the Yankees.

The Yankees will be hoping that Ichiro Suzuko can come good at the most important time, having had a fairly lame ALDS. When Suzuki was traded to the Yankees early in the summer they would have expected more than a .200 batting average and a .200 on-base percentage. Although he performed well during the regular season, he has yet to strike fire in the postseason - if he can finally come good tonight he could make the difference in this tightly contested series.

Curtis Granderson is another player the Yankees will be looking to, to potentially come good and make the difference tonight. He had a .319 OBP in the regular season and had an impressive 43 home runs. However, in the postseason he has recorded just a .063 BA and .118 OBP in 16 at-bats. If he has been saving some of what we've seen during the regular season, now would be the time to use it.
