Gerard Pique will not take to the pitch for Saturday's encounter with Granada at the Nou Camp. The defender tweaked his ankle during his side's Champions League win over Spartak Moscow in the week.

Pique will be joined on the touchline by Barcelona captain Carles Puyol, who is still recovering from a knee injury.

Again the spotlight will be on Argentine international Lionel Messi who recorded a hat trick during the win over Spartak Moscow.

Xavi will have to create without fellow midfielder Andres Iniesta who is recovering from a hamstring ailment. Vilanova might put Alex Song in Pique's place while recent signing Jordi Alba looks to return after missing a few matches with the flu.

Granada will look to limit the chances Barcelona creates, but that will be a tall task given that they have yet to gain a positive result so far this year.

However, Granada will be able to start with both strikers Antonio Floro Flores and Darwin Machis who make the trip to Catalonia, even though the pair suffered slight knocks during their side's 1-1 draw with Deportivo La Coruna.

Granada will be happy to field Borja Gomez who is returning from injury, however, Odion Ighalo, Fran Rico, Hassan Yebda, Manolo Lucena and Roberto will all be unavailable.

Coverage for the match starts at 4 p.m. EST and can be watched online here.
