Battlefield Hardline for PC Patch 1.02 Details: Several New Features and Fixes Coming With the New Update

For those who missed it, the update for Visceral Games' first-person shooter video game, Battlefield Hardline, for PC version is now rolling out.

Patch 1.02 is coming along with a host of new features and bug fixes including weapon damage adjustments, game mode enhancements, gameplay improvements and a whole lot more.

Complete details of the patch note were shared by the game's official update blog. To mention a few:

For weapon damage adjustments:

  • K10 - reduced start damage to 33 and end damage to 8
  • Saiga, PTR 91, HCAR, and HK51 - reduced the amount of vertical recoil
  • RO993 - increased the rate of fire to 850
  • Jury 410 - increased the amount of damage per pellet to 20
  • FMG9 - increased max damage to 25
  • Battle Rifle ammo - increased min damage to 25
  • AKM - bullet min damage decreased to 24

The details on Battlelog went on to specify the crash fixes for issues related to "some specific Nvidia-based video cards," "low reproduction crashes," as well as with the Bug Sentry.

Gameplay improvements points out to the reduction of camera shakes, increased graphics performance while punkbuster is running, and the removal of the glitch where players can grab cash through a roof in Blood Money game mode.

Mode adjustments are also present in Patch 1.02.

  • Fixed an issue where the Hotwire game mode was showing as available for the Hollywood Heights MP map.
  • Adjusted Team Death Match spawns so player is closer to friendlies and further from enemies.
  • Adjusted tickets to 600 for Conquest Small and 999 for Conquest Large.
  • Added Conquest Large to the Growhouse map.
  • Fixed an issue were some game modes didn't have the correct amount of tickets.
