Big Daddy Weave New Single 'The Only Name' Released

Big Daddy Weave, one of Christian music's top artists, played on the radio and on the charts the last 10 years, released their third single, "The Only Name," off of their latest album Love Come to Life today.

Their previous single, "Redeemed," has sold over 250,000 units and has charted at number one on the Christian radio charts for 12 weeks, making it their most successful song to date.

"Redeemed" was one of the nominees for "Christian Song of the Year" this past Sunday at the 2013 Billboard awards. The K-LOVE fan awards also have the song up for "Song of the Year" as well.

BDW just finished the spring portion of their "The Redeemed Tour," where they sold out shows in 49 dates in 27 states along with Chris August, Mikeschair, and Citizen Way, a press release said.

Most notably, World Vision sponsored the tour, and over 2,000 new children's sponsorships were started.

The group will be embarking on another tour this fall called, "The Only Name Tour."

Big Daddy Weave gained attention after releasing their second album, One and Only in 2002. They were nominated for a Dove Award that year. In 2010 they took home a Dove Award for their Christmas album, and they also released a greatest hits compilation titled The Ultimate Collection.
