The heart beating inside James Murphy of Irving, Tex. is not his own. In 2012, with his health failing, he received a heart transplant from Ricky Mata, a father of four who had died from a sudden brain injury. Mata's family reached out to meet the new owner of his heart and became fast friends with Murphy, the pastor of a local biker church.
