Black Friday 2011: Toys R Us Deals Released
Toy R Us disclosed some of the discounts it will be offering on Black Friday, and it has announced their stores will open doors at 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
Greg Ahearn, Toys R Us' chief marketing officer, said in a statement: "We're excited to welcome customers at Toys R Us stores across the country for what has become an annual tradition for many families after Thanksgiving dinner is finished."
The retailer will offer Leapfrog Leapsters for $24.99, down from $49.99. Ultimate Optimus Prime Transformers will be sold at a 40 percent discount from their usual price of $79.99.

For electronics, Toys R Us will include a free $50 gift card with a purchase of an iPod touch. Customers can also save $100 on the purchase of any Xbox 360 console. The consoles will also come with a $10 gift card.
Toys R Us will open for 26 straight hours, closing at 11 p.m. on Black Friday. The same deals available at Toys R Us stores will also be available on their website starting at 9 p.m. Thanksgiving.

Retailers usually conceal their Black Friday deals from shoppers. However, in recent years, they have been releasing deals earlier in an attempt to get consumers excited about the holiday season at their stores.
Walmart will offer the Xbox 360 4 GB Console along with “Gears of War 3,” a three-month Xbox Live Card and a $50 Wal-Mart eGift Card for $199.99. The store is also taking $50 off the Xbox 360 Kinect Bundle with "Kinect Adventures," "The Gunstringer," and "Fruit Ninja Kinect."
JC Penney is offering the iHome iP42 dual alarm FM clock radio for $99.88, iHome iP15 color-changing dock for $49.88 and iHome iP21 space-saver alarm for $39.88.
Online retailers are also scrambling to capture consumers attention.
Amazon unveiled a lightning deals section on their website featuring discounted items for a limited time. The deals change throughout the day and force shoppers to constantly check the page so they do not miss a bargain.
Amazon said it would offer sales on items like electronics, magazine subscriptions, clothing, shoes, jewelry, and even groceries.
