Blackberry Classic Release Date: Photos Leaked, Looks Like Q10

It appears that there are new leaked photos of the soon-to-be-released Blackberry Classic, a smartphone from the Canadian tech giant mostly known for their QWERTY phones. The Classic, earlier known as the Blackberry Q20, looks like the company's earlier model phones like the Curve, and the Q10.

Much like Blackberry's previous models, the Classic will still have the same physical QWERTY keyboard and the five button navigation keys. Looking at the leaks however, it would seem that the Classic isn't showing any serious improvements or changes from its predecessor, the Z10.

The Classic isn't too big and is only sized at 10.2mm thick and 72.4mm wide, which means it can certainly be held with just one hand.

The Classic is to get a 3.46-inch touchscreen with a screen resolution of 720 x 720 pixels. The phone will also be getting a Qualcomm MSM8960 chipset with a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 16GB of internal memory, 2GB of RAM and microSD card support of up to 128GB.

Spec and size-wise, the Blackberry Classic isn't exactly a top contender compared to most smartphone makers but the company built its reputation over compact, QWERTY based phones and intends to continue build phones based on that.

Ideally, their target market would be business oriented individuals who value Blackberry's QWERTY style phones instead of the touchscreen models of Apple or Samsung. Overall, it should satisfy its market base quite well when the Classic is released sometime this November.
