Blizzard Hiring For Unannounced Project Related To 'Overwatch'

An internship position is reportedly open at Blizzard for a project related to its hit shooter game "Overwatch." This is after a job listing was posted on the game publisher's career website that is aimed mostly at students.

The ad is looking for a general artist to work at the company in the summer of 2018. The job description includes helping Blizzard "create a wide range of assets" to help bring to life a yet "an unannounced project."

No information has been release about the upcoming project although it's pretty clear it has something to do with "Overwatch" as the job description says they are also looking for someone with "knowledge and understanding of the 'Overwatch' universe."

One possibility is that it could be a mobile game, a story campaign, or even a full-fledged sequel.

Anything is possible, but given the company's reputation for lengthy development period's fans might have to wait months or even years to see what they have in store. Judging from the job description though, it looks like the internship will last longer than one summer.

Blizzard also posted job listings for an unannounced shooter game, which could also be related to their latest ad. There is a chance that they are developing a new game. Either way, it's all good news for gamers.

"Overwatch" also kicked off their Halloween Terror event which brings with it a number of new holiday-themed skins including special legendary skins like Corsair Ana, Van Helsing McCree, Dragon Symmetra, and Cultist Zenyatta. Players will also be able to get items from last year's event.

Two PvE brawls will also be available this year. In addition to Junkenstein's Revenge, players can try out the new Junkenstein Endless brawl mode featuring a different line-up of heroes. The events will run until Nov. 2.

"Overwatch" is currently available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
