'Bones' Season 10 Release Date, Spoilers: Exclusive Sneak Peek for New Season Released
First episode for the 10th season of Fox's hit crime comedy-drama TV series "Bones" is slated to air next week and fans are already hankering for more updates and news of the show. Here's what we've heard so far.
An exclusive sneak peek has been released for the upcoming premiere of Fox's TV show reveals Emily Deschanel's Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan resorting to drastic measures in order for her husband David Boreanaz's Seeley Booth to get out of prison.
It can be remembered during the previous season's finale, that Booth was framed in the murder of three FBI agents. Meanwhile, his and Brennan's home was left in ruins as it was destroyed by heavy gunfire.
As revealed in the video clip, Brennan is threatening to expose a government official's dirty records.
"I'm blackmailing you. I want Booth released," the forensic anthropologist said. The prosecutor, in response, counter-threatened Brennan by asking her the penalties she would suffer if she continues to do so.
"Well, there is a statistical risk that you could arrest me [but] the odds are far more in my favor, well, because of the things that you have done for which I have documentation," she sternly said.
"And know that if you tell anyone about this, or if Booth is harmed in any way, all the information I have will be used against you," Bones added.
E! Online, however noted that though Brennan is fighting for her boyfriend's freedom, it doesn't necessarily mean that their relationship is already mended. Deschanel told the publication that "it puts a big strain on the relationship."
Casting rumors also suggest that later on in the season, actor Nora Dunn will reprise her role as Tess Brown, who will once again give Brennan some professional competition.
"Bones" Season 10's premiere entitled "The Conspiracy in the Corpse" will air September 25, Tuesday, at 8 p.m. on FOX.
