"Naruto" fans better brace themselves as the manga series that they have been waiting for is set to be released soon. According to a report by Christian Times, "Boruto Naruto" is coming next month. It will be out on May 9 and will be released by the Weekly Shonen Jump. The series will be telling more about the tale of Naruto's son, Boruto, who will be featured to be grown up this time.
It can be remembered that young Boruto was featured in the film "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" wherein he was seen resolving to become a ninja like Sasuke after the appeasement with him. The manga series will pick up from those events which means more of Boruto's adventures will take place. Crossmap also detailed that the visuals for the manga will be drawn by "Naruto" assistant artist Mikio Ikemoto this time. The original artist and creator, Masashi Kishimoto, will still be involved with the project but he will serve as a supervisor only.
The source also noted that Ukyo Kodachi, who worked as a writer for "Naruto-Gaara Hiden: Sajingenso" novel and screenplay coordinator for the "Boruto" movie, will also be taking part as a writer for the upcoming "Boruto" manga series. Viz Media has also confirmed already that they will be responsible in publishing the one-shot and they will do it together in English through the Weekly Shonen Jump on the same day.
As to what fans can expect, Movie News Guide reported that Mitsuki will be making an appearance as one of the characters of the new manga series. There are very few details about him at the moment. Apart from being the son of Orochimaru, his identity to the fans is a big mystery. Who his mother is and where he originated has yet to be unveiled. Fans will have to stay tuned for updates as more is expected to come considering the approaching release of the series.
