Boy Does Something Amazing With $20 He Found in the Parking Lot of a Restaurant
8-year-old Myles Eckert took a family trip to Cracker Barrel on a snowy day and something amazing happened. He found $20 on the floor of the parking lot and did something unforgettable with it.
Myles lost his father in the war in Iraq and doesn't go a day without missing him. Although he didn't get to spend a lot of time with him, he never forgot how special he was to him. Instead of buying a video game with the money he found, Myles wrote a letter and put the money inside. He handed the letter to a soldier at the restaurant and told him how much he appreciated his service and about his father.
It's an incredibly touching story from one kid to a soldier who reminded him of his dad. Myles told the soldier that his family would like to "pay it forward," that's why he gave him the money.
