'Bridget Jones' Baby' Cast News: Who Will Be Back?

More news about the upcoming installment of the beloved "Bridget Jones" series have been revealed, including actors in old and new roles.

It was reported that actors Renee Zellweger and Colin Firth were seen filming in Oxfordshire, England last week for the upcoming movie "Bridget Jones' Baby." They will both be reprising their roles from the previous installments of the movie series.

The two were seen filming an outdoor scene that seemed to be a christening event for their baby. Bridget's father, played by Jim Broadbent, was also seen on the set with them.

The premise of the film is expected to be about Bridget's life as new 40-year-old mother. While the father of her new child was not yet confirmed, Mark was seen attending the christening as well. "Bridget Jones' Baby" will be directed by Sharon Maguire, with the script written by Helen Fielding, David Nicholls, and Emma Thompson.

According to E! News, Zellweger shared her sentiments on the upcoming installment. She said, "It's really a nice reunion with old friends. It's always wonderful to be back in London and I love this character, so it's been a real treat to get to revisit it again. I'm really glad to be doing it."

Along with the return of old characters, it was reported that a new character will be introduced in the movie and it will be played by Patrick Dempsey. Unfortunately, it was confirmed that Hugh Grant will not be returning to the movie as his character Daniel Cleaver.

There are also reports that Ed Sheeran will be making an appearance in the film. It was reported that a scene from the movie was filmed during one of his concerts in Dublin. It was said that he was excited to take part in the film after being asked if the production crew was allowed to film during his concert.
