Casey Anthony’s latest probation meeting has revealed that she may be taking part in some form of therapy, although exactly what remains a mystery.
Anthony reportedly met with her probation officer on Wednesday; her third meeting since commencing her court-enforced probation that will last for a year.
Officers have said that she has remained compliant with the terms of her probation, but her location in Florida and place of meetings were not revealed.
She is currently serving a one-year probation term ordered as a result of a 2010 check-fraud conviction.
A controversial figure, Anthony has been a public target of hatred since her acquittal in the highly publicized murder trial for her two-year-old daughter Caylee. The public was shocked when her not guilty verdict was read out, and since then she has been forced into hiding to protect her.
In the past 30 days Anthony has had no source of income and remains unemployed, according to her probation report.
She has begun classes in the past 30 days, although the report does not make it clear what type of classes she has been attending.
On the probation report, it asks her to circle which type of class she has been attending: educational, mental health, drug, alcohol, therapy or self-improvement etc.
None of the class types were circled although the word “therapy” was redacted from the document; leading many to believe that Anthony has been attending some form of therapy classes in the past 30 days.
A DOC spokesman told the press that the redaction was due to statutory restrictions.
