Chicago Bulls News: Rose and Company Fail to Deliver Last 2 Games, Lead Bucks by 1 Game

Just last week, almost everyone thought the Bulls have already won the series with a 3-0 lead over the Bucks. Less than a week later, the series is heading back to Milwaukee for Game 6, where Jason Kidd's squad can inch closer to making history.

However, for Chicago, it was the turnovers and perimeter shooting that made the difference in the last two games.

Playing a little complacent in Game 4, the Bulls turned the ball over 28 times, resulting in a lot of fastbreak opportunities for the young Bucks. At the end of regulation, Chicago's loss was mainly attributed to Derrick Rose's crucial defensive lapse that led to a Jerryd Bayless layup at the buzzer.

But in Game 5, it was more of "team effort" for coach Tom Thibodeau's team. In the report by ESPN, the Bulls shot only 34.4 percent from the field. To make things worse, Chicago also missed a ton of three-pointers (4-22), which only made the defense tighter in the paint.

This time around, it was Michael Carter-Williams who led the show for Milwaukee, finishing with 22 points on 10-15 shooting, eight rebounds, nine assists, and three blocks, against the former MVP. Jimmy Butler, considered second fiddle to Rose in offensive prowess, but actually leads the Bulls in points, managed 20 points and 10 boards, but shot only 5 out of 21 the entire game. Rose was no better, shooting just 5 out of 20 from the field, and finishing with 13 points and only two assists.

The only consistent force inside was Pau Gasol, who had 25 points, 10 rebounds and four assists.
