Chris Soules Says Fiancee Whitney Bischoff Was Upset She Missed Him on 'Dancing With The Stars'

Amid rumors that claim Chris Soules and his fiancée, Whitney Bischoff, are on the verge of a breakup following her noticeable absence at Soules' final weeks at "Dancing With The Stars," the 33-year-old farmer says that they are still very much together and explained why she was not at her usual seat at the ABC hit show, adding that Bischoff was actually upset that she wasn't there to see him perform his last dance.

"She's with family, it's actually the anniversary of her mom's death," Soules told Us Weekly of his love, whose mother died 10 years ago from a blood clot.

"She was definitely bummed that this was the final dance, and she wasn't able to be here," he added. "But she was doing things for herself and she was with her family where she should be."

Soules was eliminated from the competition last Tuesday, along with "Shark Tank" boss Robert Herjavec.

"It was clear at the end there, I was really disappointed," said Soules. "But you know, life goes on. We didn't make it to the end, so I'm a little disappointed."

But Soules said that the elimination was a blessing in disguise, because now he can get back to doing what he loves most—farming.

"My family needs me back there and we're in the middle of planting season which is one of the most important times of the year for us," he explained. "I'm excited to be back there, that's something I really enjoy. So this is a tough pill to swallow because I was committed to getting to the end of this, but it's been an unforgettable experience and thankful that I got to be a part of it but looking forward to moving on."

But it looks like dancing with continue to be a part of Soules' life as he reveals that Bischoff may be looking to follow his lead before their wedding.

"I think she's probably going to start taking [dance] lessons," he told E! News. "I think she's gotten inspired by watching me. I'd love to teach her, but I don't think I'm capable of teaching at this point!"
