Christian Clothing Company Invited to Oscars Event

Faith Baby is honored to be the first Christian company to be invited to the Golden Globes and Oscars gifting suite.

The invitation came from fashion guru and world-renowned designer Jayneoni Moore, who was prompted to invite the Christian company for its unique baby apparel after discovering it through a blog.

The exclusive invitation means a table for Faith Baby at the Pre-Golden Globe Boom Boom Room Baby and Big Kid Gifting Suite where celebrities have the chance to check out the seasonal trends for both new moms and babies. Invited companies have the opportunity to offer the product to some of the top celebrities in the Hollywood industry.

Stephanie McGuire, owner and founder of Faith Baby, said she was excited to receive the invitation and be the first Christian clothing company to attend the Jan. 14-15 event.

"We are so excited that we were invited and we found that we are actually … the only exclusive Christian clothing line that has ever been invited. This is its fifth year running and we are the only Christian clothing line to be invited," she told The Christian Post.

On top of that, McGuire added, Faith Baby will be the only company to offer ruffle baby bloomers, which are currently a big trend.

"Ours is a new take on the old product," she said. "We are a little bit different than everything else out there."

McGuire was especially surprised by the invitation given that her company began as a simple idea after a tragic loss.

"Before my son was born, I was pregnant with a little girl and I miscarried; her name was Amanda. Then I got pregnant with my son and had him and I kept telling him 'you are mommy's answered prayers,' and I really had a strong faith and that's what got me through for my first pregnancy.

"So when I kept saying that about my son I thought 'I would love to have a onesies or a t-shirt that said 'mommy's answered prayers' and then I guess other mommies wanted the same thing. So that is when I started Faith Baby."

The faith-inspired baby and toddler clothing display positive God messages. Some of the phrases used include "God has big plans for me," "surrounded by the favor of God," I am a child of the most high God" and "God sure has a sense of humor, He created 2 of us."

By participating in the event, McGuire hopes to spread God's message to some of the most influential personalities in the media today.

"We are currently preparing the onesies and toddler shirts because mainly those are the ones that spread the message of God's love. That's our main goal – spreading His love and uplifting messages about babies and just spreading the Word. "
