Christian leaders share inspiring new year messages for 2019

Last on the list is Pastor John Gray whose year was filled with opportunities, transition and even criticism. The megachurch pastor recently took the helm as senior pastor of  Relentless Church in Greenville, South Carolina, and although he was praised for the smooth transition and how he was looking after his new community, he and his wife found themselves in a media storm because he gifted her a  $200K Lamborghini.

In his new year Instagram post accompanied by a photo of his wife, Aventer, smiling, the minister opened up about his rough year but goes on to share encouragement for 2019.

“2018 tried to break us. And yet, here @grayceeme (his wife) is wearing a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness letting the devil know he didn’t and CANNOT win,” Gray declared.

The charismatic leader and reality TV star then made a proclamation for what's to come.

“2019 is the unveiling. Watch and see what God will do. The tears of 2018 is the harvest of 2019. Love you Av,” he said.
