For the Hispanic Evangelical community residing in the United States, finding a space that offers clear guidance amidst a confusing information landscape is a vital necessity. In this sense, the nomination not only acknowledges the site's reporting but also endorses an editorial vision where true value lies in analysis and context, moving away from the immediacy of fast-paced secular news to offer a permanent resource for reference.

"Creating content that demonstrates depth and not just coverage is what truly transforms and builds authority in our community. This nomination confirms that a robust theological and social perspective makes all the difference compared to secular information," said the editorial team of Christian Post Español upon receiving the news.

The evolution of digital communication and faith

The digital ecosystem has changed dramatically, demanding greater specialization from Christian media. The event organizers highlighted this reality when announcing this year's nominees.

"In response to the transformation that communication has undergone in recent years and the growing number of applications received, the Premio Águila has expanded its structure to 17 categories," the organization explained in its official statement. This expansion will allow for a more precise evaluation of the diverse formats, platforms, and professional profiles that currently enrich the Church.

The awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Hilton Miami Airport Blue Lagoon Hotel in Miami, Florida. This venue will serve as the setting to honor the work of those who use communication platforms to build and inform.

Beyond the awards ceremony, the gala will take place during the closing of the Media Music Marketing Summit. This international gathering is a premier platform that will bring together communicators, journalists, media outlets, content creators, pastors, leaders, artists and representatives from the music, publishing and digital industries. Attendees will come from the United States, Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe, creating a space for networking, training, and unity.

The nominees for the best news portal category

This year's competition is notable for the quality of the Spanish-language media outlets that are setting the standard for Christian news globally. Along with Christian Post Español, the list of nominees announced for the Best News Website category includes Revista Hechos & Crónicas, UCCA Argentina, El Sello Noticias, Vida Cristiana, Tómalo al Día, Reactivoz, Altar 7, Mundo de Cristo and La Palabra Miami.

Premio Águila's support encourages media outlets to continue raising the bar for Christian journalism. The September event in Miami promises to be an unforgettable celebration of the impact faith-based communication has on today's society.
