Coldplay consists of Martin, Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland and Will Champion. The group's debut album, 2000's "Parachutes," shot them into stardom with songs such as "Yellow," "Trouble" and "Don't Panic." Coldplay went on to release albums such as "A Rush of the Blood to the Head" in 2002 as well as 2005's "X&Y," solidifying them as rock super stars. The group has since earned seven Grammy Awards as well as dozens of other accolades from around the world.
Adding to Coldplay's celebrity, Martin is married to Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow, with whom he shares two children, Apple and Moses. Although the pair are infrequently spotted out together, Martin recently spoke about his wife.
"Well, she's a good actress. I am biased but I am also right," he said of Paltrow to the Daily Mail. "'The Royal Tenenbaums' is one of her best performances."
