Couple Prays to Adopt Baby With Down Syndrome - Watch Them Meet Their Beautiful New Daughter (VIDEO)

Even before they got married, Andy and Mercedes Lara wanted to adopt, and they wanted to adopt a very special kind of baby, one with Down Syndrome. On June 3, 2013, their baby was born in San Jose, Calif., and they made the eight-hour drive from their home in Orange Country to meet her.

This video from Andy's "ministry focused video production" company, Kingdom Artist Media, documents the beginnings of the couple's life journey with their beautiful new baby girl, Sunflower Mae.
