Courtney Stodden and Trouble With 'Lost' Actor: 17-Year-Old Has Marital Woes (VIDEO)

After just over a year of marriage, 17 year-old Courtney Stodden is facing trouble in her marriage with 51 year-old Doug Hutchinson.

The former "Lost" actor married his bride when she was only 16 after obtaining legal permission from Stodden's mother. Also appearing in "The Green Mile" and "X-Factor" Hutchinson has already been married twice before and is now allegedly facing trouble with his third wife.

To mediate their concerns, the couple plans on appearing on VH1's "Couple's Therapy." According to a source, who reported the couple's appearance on the show to TMZ, the couple is facing "obvious problems in their relationship because of their age difference and the notoriety they've gotten because of their relationship."

Taping for the episode began a few days ago and will air with Stodden and Hutchinson getting "intensive therapy" along side four other couples who are also facing difficulty in their marriage.

"FYI Stoddenista's: Will be m.i.a for about 3 weeks – packing up & heading out to shoot a reality show! Love you all xxx God Bless, Courtney," Stodden tweeted Monday.

Vienna Girardi, winner of the season 14 of "The Bachelor," and boyfriend Kasey Kahl are amongst other well-known couples who have appeared on the show in the past. Kahl was arrested over the weekend after police discovered stronger evidence connecting him to an assault on another couple in January. Police now believe that Kahl may have been drunk and high on paint thinner drugs upon his arrest although Kahl claims that he was never tested for either substance.

Stodden, who is an aspiring singer, released one of her first tracks earlier this year to much critical review.

"The song is about clubbing and dancing with your sexy partner," the aspiring singer told Fox411.com in April. "To me, it's a story about lust. It's about falling in love with someone. Is it in your head, or is it lust?"
