'Criminal Minds' Season 9 Spoilers: When 'Animal House' Goes Horribly Awry (VIDEO)

On an all-new "Criminal Minds," the life of Special Agent Derek Morgan will be placed under scrutiny. The BAU will also investigate just what happens when a fraternity party goes wrong and people go missing.

"A series of targeted kidnappings near Memphis have the BAU searching for a commonality between the missing persons and a motive to lead to the UnSub. Meanwhile, Savannah vents her frustration to Morgan about the amount of traveling he does for his job," a summary on TV Guide states.

The series is taking a new twist by allowing viewers the opportunity to look "behind the curtain" at the characters who spend their lives investigating the lives of others. Viewers have already seen a lot that happened to JJ when she was undercover and abroad, learning that she had endured torture and a miscarriage as a result of a bomb.

Now the spotlight turns to Morgan and his relationship with Savannah, who is growing increasingly unhappy with being apart for so long. He also has a close friendship with Penelope, which adds to the stress on their relationship. Viewers saw one part of his personal life last season, when it was revealed that he had a missing relative he was trying to find.

In upcoming episodes, viewers will be able to see more into the lives of agents Hotchner, Rossi and Blake. It's something that audiences have been wanting for some time – who are the people that know so much about others and are able to get into the minds of some of the worst criminals?

The promo for this upcoming episode shows a fraternity party with the theme of "Animal House," including pig masks. Yet something goes horribly wrong and suddenly people are shown in chains and being approached by an ominous character.

"This is where your bacon gets extra crispy," Penelope tells the BAU.

This is the last episode until April 30's "Fatal" and the following episode, "Angels."

"Criminal Minds" airs Wednesday nights on CBS.
