Rooster Teeth's "The Know" show on YouTube has released additional details and screenshots of the upcoming game that is said to support from one to four players at a time.

As with the first two games in the series, players get to build their cursed human character from the beginning of the game, with an option to choose from among 10 character classes.

According to Rooster Teeth, "Dark Souls 3" players will battle up to 45 enemies and face up to 15 new bosses, excluding the monsters and other characters that have already appeared in the previous games.

Players will also have 100 new weapons to choose from, as well as 40 new armor sets for their character.

Similar to the "Dark Souls", the upcoming game will have 12 different areas, with players given the opportunity to participate in sacrifice ceremonies – dragging bodies to specific areas, performing rituals, and visiting other players' games instead of using soapstones and signs to interact with other players.

Another new addition will be the "heat up" factor which will change the way players approach bosses during battle encounters.

"Dark Souls" was originally released by Bandai Namco Games in October 2011 to critical acclaim for its depth of combat and its mythology rooted gameplay. It was followed by the equally well received "Dark Souls II" in March 2014.

"Dark Souls 3" will reportedly be officially unveiled at the E3 2015 scheduled to take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center next week.
