'Days Of Our Lives' Season 23 Plot News, Spoilers: Joey Gets Worse; Steve Agrees To Ava's Deal As Andre Plans Revenge

Tuesday, Jan. 26, will be a tension-filled day on "Days of Our Lives" as Joey (James Lastovic) uses alcohol to deal with his despair, Andre (Thaao Penghlis) vows to get revenge for Stefano's (Joseph Mascolo) death, Steve (Stephen Nichols) works with Ava (Tamara Braun) to find their son, and Abe (James Reynolds) discovers Theo's (Kyler Pettis) crush.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, in Tuesday's episode, Joey, still reeling from Ava's declaration that they take a clean break from each other, will try to drown his sorrow with alcohol. His drinking problem begins to alarm those around him when he gets drunk and begins to act erratically at Ciara's (Vivian Jovanni) party. Will Joey's friends be able to help him?

Meanwhile, Andre will be back and will be seething with fury over Stefano's death. In the next episode, he will vow to do anything he can to avenge Stefano and will reveal a bold scheme for revenge.

After announcing that she wants no further contact with Joey, Ava will be concentrating on finding her son and will finally get Steve to help her. Steve, wanting to find Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), will agree to Ava's deal. Later, she will insist on accompanying Steve on the search for their lost child. But does this child really exist or is Ava just making the whole, twisted story up?

The next episode will also feature a bit about Abe and Theo as Abe begins to notice that Theo has a crush on Ciara. How will Abe handle this new development and what will he tell Theo about high school romances? With Theo growing up, will Abe be able to step back and let the boy navigate some of his own experiences by himself? What does the future hold for Theo and Ciara?

"Days of Our Lives" airs weekdays at 1 p.m. on NBC.
