'Deadpool 2' News, Release Date: Domino Portrayer Zazie Beetz Praises Co-Star Ryan Reynolds

"Atlanta" star Zazie Beetz had nothing but good words to say about her co-star Ryan Reynolds when asked about his performance in their upcoming movie. "Deadpool 2" is still in production, and if the actress' recent statement is anything to go by, it seems that she is enjoying working with Reynolds big time.

Beetz recently revealed that while her character in the movie was not very impressed by Deadpool, the actress herself was in awe of Reynold's commitment as an actor.

"Honestly, it's amazing kind of watching Ryan do his thing because you think like, 'Oh, he has the mask on and you can ADR all of it' or whatever, but he is genuinely, incredibly talented, and it's pretty impressive to watch," she said in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. "He's just really good."

The actress went on to say that "Deadpool 2" was so far the biggest thing she's done as an actress, so all she did was observe during filming. "It's been a good vibe set to observe on and like a lot of really talented people," she said.

The first "Deadpool" movie did not only rake in big at the global box office but was also critically acclaimed. After several fans and critics across the globe praised Reynolds for his effective portrayal of the Merc with a mouth, the actor was tapped to suit up as Deadpool again and reprise his role in the sequel.

In the upcoming movie, Beetz will play Domino, a former mercenary who eventually becomes a member of the X-Men. While the official synopsis for "Deadpool 2" has yet to be released, a good number of teasers have already made their way online and showed Domino in action. Recently, the film's summer production offered a glimpse of the character showing off her skills as a luck-controlling mutant.

"Deadpool 2" will be released on June 1, 2018.
