Demi Moore to File for Divorce?

New rumors are saying that divorce is imminent for Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore after weeks of media speculation.

Kutcher, previously accused of being unfaithful, is said to have had an affair with a woman on the eve of his six-year wedding anniversary to Moore. The couple spent September 24 separately, with Kutcher partying in San Diego while Moore was in New York City promoting her directorial debut, “Five.”

Because the couple publicly celebrated their anniversary in past years, their lack of togetherness last month raised questions.

Adding to suspicions of trouble in their marriage, Moore tweeted a message about anger by Greek philosopher Epictetus.

“When we are offended at any man’s fault, turn to yourself & study your own failings. Then you will forget your anger,” wrote Moore, perhaps in response to rage toward Kutcher if the rumors of cheating were true.

The Daily Mail reported on Monday that Moore has consulted a lawyer for what could be up to a $290 million divorce.

“Miss Moore has been totally humiliated,” said an entertainment industry insider. “Therefore, she consulted a lawyer about getting a divorce.”

Many reports indicate that the couple has been living separately for weeks now, yet neither actor has confirmed or denied the ongoing rumors.

“The discussion included her living arrangements and how a divorce would impact her assets,” added the source speaking with Daily Mail. “This is a huge and very tough decision for Miss Moore to take. But her trust has been shattered.”

The rumors of infidelity arise as 33-year-old Kutcher settles into his role replacing Charlie Sheen on “Two and a Half Men.”

Moore was previously married twice before to songwriter Freddy Moore and actor Bruce Willis, and after two years of dating wed Kutcher in 2005.
