'Diablo 3' To Get Massive Expansion In Patch 2.4 – New Adventure Zones Coming Up.

Blizzard Games will be releasing Patch 2.4 for "Diablo 3" and it is rumoured that the expansion is a massive one. There are new zones and armours are being completely revamped.

The first thing that Patch 2.4 brings for the players is the Greyhollow Island, a brand new zone for Adventure Mode only. This zone is not incorporated in the story so players can play it separately.

Greyhollow island is grim, dark and mysterious where "the land itself is said to be hungry for blood" and according to the game's website, it will eat up the players as those who go to this island may never return. Players have to fight the wild beasts and supernatural creatures that reside on this island and get to the truth as to what tragedy transpired here.

Other Adventure zones have also been opened up and players can go beyond the rubble heaps to go to the Royal Quarters and Leoric's Manor. To go to the Eternal Woods, players will have to fight it out in the Ruins of Sescheron and only then can they gain entry into the Eternal Woods.

The next change that Patch 2.4 brings is to the game's 24 sets of class armour. All sets have been turned brand new by revamping and revising them. Class Armours Thorns of the Invoker and the Shadow's Mantle are getting a complete makeover.

Inna's Mantra or Firebird's Finery will get a boost in power, and a two-piece Crusader flail and shield set has been added.

Blizzard said "Every Ancient item you have equipped increases your damage by 800 per cent and reduces your damage taken by four per cent." It further said, "These are bound to spur an untold number of never explored builds, especially for those of you who'd like to explore the boundaries beyond six-piece class sets."

Blizzard has introduced an entirely new set of challenges in the form of Set Dungeons. The players have to complete the mission in their class set, get the six set pieces, and then track the ancient dungeon whose clues will be given to them.

Instead of the Seasonal Legendaries, Season Rebirth has been added that allows players to jump into Seasons minus their gear at level one. The gear will come back to the players in non-Season via email.

Patch 2.4 is due for public testing and will soon come out on PS4 and Xbox One.
