Hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs said a prayer Friday for anyone who's facing darkness as he grieves over the unexpected death of Kim Porter, the mother of four of his six children.

"God, I wanna thank you for waking me up this morning," Diddy began in his post on Instagram. "I been through some dark times, and it's a lot of people out there in that darkness, in that lost place, in that place where you feel stuck [and] don't know where to begin for the change, where you don't know what to do next."

He encouraged anyone feeling stuck to get closer to Him. "God help me show them the way. Show them the light," Diddy declared.

"This is [a] prayer I said like a year ago. God help us. Love to all," he added in the video description.

Porter was found dead in her Los Angeles home on Nov. 15. Leading up to her untimely death the former model had reportedly been suffering from flu-like symptoms for several weeks. The cause of death is still undetermined, and the family is awaiting toxicology results.

Earlier this week, Diddy posted a tribute on social media mourning the loss of Porter.

“For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven’t. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much,” the 49-year-old said on Instagram.

“Today I’m going to pay tribute to you, I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship. We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER S–T!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love,” he concluded.

Bishop T.D. Jakes of The Potter's House megachurch in Dallas, Texas, was asked by Diddy to officiate Porter's funeral. The funeral tool place at Cascade Hills Church in Columbus, Georgia, on Saturday.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Jakes expressed his condolences to Diddy and Porter’s family.

"My family and I would like to offer our love and condolences to Diddy and his entire family, as they traverse the tragic loss of Ms. Kim Porter. The beauty of love is that it knows no limits; not even death can contain the love established during her life. I empathize with your feelings of sorrow, yet I hope for the memories made and laughs exchanged to be cherished most," Jakes wrote in part.

Diddy attended a private viewing on Friday.  He and Porter’s family issued the following statement: "God broke the mold when he made Kim, there was truly no other woman like her. Although her time here on earth was far too short, she lived a life full of purpose and meaning. She was a loving mother and devoted friend."
