'Dragon Ball Super' Story Details Revealed

Fans of the "Dragon Ball" franchise are eagerly waiting for the return of their favorite anime characters to TV. "Dragon Ball Super" is an animated TV series that will be initially released in Japan starting July 5. With the series' popularity, it is likely to find its way to the U.S. soon, much like the other franchises.

The new animated TV series comes 18 years after the first anime series for the franchise "Dragon Ball" was released on Fuji TV in 1986. The last series that was released was "Dragon Ball Z Kai" in 2009. Most of the titles in the franchise had international versions.

Not much is known about the new series until recently. According to a report in Tech Times, new storyline details have been shared about the series and its first episode. "Dragon Ball Super" is set a few years after the defeat of Majin Buu, one of the most powerful antagonists in the "Dragon Ball Z." He was a magical life form created by an evil warlock.
