Eileen Davidson, 'Days of Our Lives' Star, Joining 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'? Rumors Abound
Another "Days of Our Lives" cast member is reportedly joining the cast of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." Eileen Davidson, who just recently rejoined "DOOL," is allegedly following in the footsteps of former cast mate Lisa Rinna and joining the reality series.
Rumors of Davidson joining "RHOBH" are running rampant and could very well be true. Davidson is a huge name in the world of daytime, having starred on "The Young and the Restless" and "Days of Our Lives," spending a great deal of time on both series. Now, by joining "Real Housewives," she could easily make the transition to primetime.
Rinna joined the series, and the unofficial announcement came earlier this year. She has apparently already filmed several scenes for the series, including her birthday party at "RHOBH" star Lisa Vanderpump's new restaurant.

"Lisa has been friends with Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump for years," a source told Us Weekly, and Richards is returning for the new season.
"Yes, it's coming back and I'm coming back," Richards told Us Weekly. "I feel good. I'm looking forward to a new season. I think it's going to be a really good season and I'm excited. I'm curious, like the viewers, to see things unfold and see what the relationships are like."
Should Davidson join the cast, it would likely boost ratings. People would tune in to see two former soap divas together on the same show once again but in a completely new light.
Davidson recently rejoined the cast of "Days of Our Lives" as the sinister Kristen DiMera for a continuing storyline that involves her character drugging and raping her fiance's half-brother. Once she was found out, she fled the town of Salem but has returned for revenge on the one woman who brought her down – her arch-nemesis, Marlena Evans (played by Deidre Hall). Davidson's time on "DOOL" has earned her a Daytime Emmy win for Outstanding Lead Actress for her portrayal of Kristen DiMera.
"Days of Our Lives" airs on NBC. Bravo has not yet confirmed Davidson's role on the series.
