Erin Andrews Mixes Up Justin Verlander and Justin Bieber in Post-Game Interview

Erin Andrews is once again making headlines after confusing a member of the Detroit Tigers with a singer she herself has said she enjoys listing to, Justin Bieber.

While interviewing Boston Red Sox slugger Mike Napoli about his home run in Game 3 of the ALCS-- it gave the Red Sox's a 1-0 game win and 2-1 series lead-- Andrews seemed to confuse Justin Verlander, the Detroit pitcher, with Justin Bieber.

After the incident, users on Twitter began making fun of the long time sports reporter.

"My lord..people are unreal RT @NDisch: "@pvdj: @ErinAndrews did you almost say Justin Bieber instead of Verlander in post game interview?" Andrews posted to her Twitter account.

"If u really think I have Bieber on my mind, then u are soooooo right #sarcasm," she added.

This is the second time in recent weeks that Andrews has been in the headlines for something other than her reporting.

Erin Andrews recently called out former college football quarterback David Pollack for saying he doesn't believe women belong on the College Football Playoff selection committee.

Pollack's comment was made just a day after it was reported that former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice is expected to be a member of the College Football Playoff selection committee that will select teams for the College Football Playoff next year.

"Now I'm going to stick my foot in my mouth, probably. I want people on this committee, guys, that can watch tape," Pollack said. "Yes, that have played football, that are around football, that can tell you different teams, on tape, not on paper."

Pollack continued to make his point that committee members should be former players when ESPN host Chris Fowler asked if that requirement should preclude women being placed on the committee.

Fowler said, "So no woman belongs on the committee, then?"

Pollack didn't back down, and replied, "You said that … I'll say it, yeah. Yeah."
