Many fans are actually convinced that the 2016 DLC of "Fallout 4" will have an underwater content and if the rumor turns out to be right, it would likely be just one piece of the puzzle as the map of the game is colossal and anything can happen.

Another report from WhatCulture suggests that the DLC will have players go outside of Boston and venture into new cities that are close by. The capital city of Rhode Island, Providence was mentioned by the site because of its interesting history, including the existence of the mafia in the 1940's. Going beyond Boston may mean new challenges and new enemies for loyal fans.

N4BB also speculated that the upcoming DLC pack will bring in new missions for players and if they are successful, the expected rewards could be new weapons, armors or perks. Gamers can also expect to see some new maps with new NPCs. Getting a new partner to go around the Commonwealth can also be expected to be included along with the DLC.
