Jennifer Lawrence Nude Photos Leak Sparks FBI and Apple Investigations
The FBI has started investigating the leaked nude photos of Jennifer Lawrence and other celebrities such as Kate Upton, Victoria Justice, Ariana Grande and Marie Elizabeth Winstead. The agency said it addressing the complaints that online accounts of the celebrities had been hacked into, which led to nude pictures being posted online.
Apple spokeswoman Natalie Kerris said that the company was also doing its part to help by investigating if any iCloud accounts were compromised.
The photos were leaked to a file sharing site named 4chan, and a user of the site claims to have hacked into various celebrities' accounts. Users are reportedly offering to release more pictures and video in exchange for money.

Lawrence's representative confirmed that the photos are real and were stolen from the actress' iCloud account.
"This is a flagrant violation of privacy," Lawrence's publicist Liz Mahoney wrote in a statement. "The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence."
Upton also had her attorney issue a statement to TMZ and said that the hacking was an "outrageous violation" of their client's privacy, saying, "We intend to pursue anyone disseminating or duplicating these illegally obtained images to the fullest extent possible."
Justice claims that the photos of her are not real and took to her Twitter account to clear things up.
"These so called nudes of me are FAKE people" said the actress. Grande also said that the photos of her are "completely fake."
Winstead also vented on her Twitter account and addressed the hacker and other people who may have seen the her pictures.
"To those of you looking at photos I took with my husband years ago in the privacy of our home, hope you feel great about yourselves. Knowing those photos were deleted long ago, I can only imagine the creepy effort that went into this," the actress wrote.
