'Game of Thrones' Season 4 Spoilers: Jon Snow Faces 'Drama and Tragedy'

The fourth season of HBO's popular historical fiction drama "Game Of Thrones" began filming this summer. The "Game of Thrones" fourth season is most likely going to be heavily based on "A Storm of Swords" and "A Feast for Crows," which are the third and fourth books, respectively, in the series penned by George R. R. Martin. Now, the cast and crew have revealed a few spoilers for the upcoming season.

According to director Neil Marshall, who is signed on to direct at least the ninth episode of season four, this season will not be much different in terms of violence and huge surprises.

"I think that's one of the key things of 'Game of Thrones,' which is to take character that you loved for three of four years and then butcher them brutally. Yeah, there's a bit of drama and tragedy in my episode so I'm sure there is for the rest of the season as well," Marshall said according to Mary Sue.

Additionally, Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow on "Game of Thrones," recently told Access Hollywood that things are going to get complicated for Snow in the upcoming season.

"He's a bit in the wars, old Jon Snow. And it doesn't get any easier this season. It's kind of high-octane, action-packed," Harrington said to Access Hollywood. He went on to say that it isn't just Jon Snow who will face violence, as this will be the most deadly season yet.

Season four will have "more deaths this season than any other! ... You'd think they'd tone the deaths down, but they don't. They've realized that's a successful option, so they're just killing more people than they've ever killed," he said.
