'Gilmore Girls' Updates: Luke to Hunt Down Logan

Luke's (Scott Patterson) dislike for Logan (Matt Czuchry) will reemerge in full force in the potential second part of the "Gilmore Girls" sequel on Netflix.

As Elite Daily points out, Luke has always been overprotective of Rory (Alexis Bledel). In the past, he tried to prevent her from getting together with the Huntzberger kid. He told Lorelai (Lauren Graham) that Rory should not be allowed to be alone with Logan since he was obviously a player. After the initial meeting, Luke had very little opportunity to meet with Logan again. Fans got the idea, though, that his first impression of the man did not change.

If Netflix and the Palladinos decide to continue with "A Year in the Life," the new storyline will likely dwell on Rory's pregnancy. The identity of her baby's father will also be revealed. At the end of the revival, this mystery was not revealed.

Many hints, though, point to Logan as the baby's father. He and Rory had an ongoing affair even though they were both involved in relationships of their own. Logan was engaged to a French heiress, while Rory had a boyfriend. During the recently concluded "Gilmore Girls Fan Fest," new details have been revealed about Rory's baby daddy.

Tanc Sade (Finn) and Alan Loayza (Colin), who played Logan's best friends, were sure that the Huntzberger heir was the father. Loayza said that it could only be Logan.

"It's gotta be Logan," Loayza said. "And that's purely from a selfish standpoint because we would be the uncles. So if they bring it back, we would be doing crazy uncle stuff and probably putting the baby in some Life & Death Brigade adventures... A little mini umbrella for the baby."

Now that Luke is Rory's stepfather, his influence in her life has been solidified. If Logan is really the one who made her pregnant, the boy has to deal with Luke's fury. The whole situation is one big mess, as Logan will have to break his engagement if he wants to marry Rory, something that his family will definitely not agree with. The wedding is supposed to be a business arrangement for both clans.

Luke, on the other hand, will likely not want Rory to become a single mother and experience what Lorelai underwent years ago. He will probably hunt down Logan and make him pay for what he did if it is the last thing he will do.
