GodTube.com Brings Bible into Digital Age

GodTube.com launched the first Virtual Video Bible and the world's first Virtual Video Prayer Wall this week, bringing the Bible into the digital age for the 2.1 billion Christians around the world.

"Bible 2.0," reported as the world's first online interactive Virtual Video Bible, provides an interactive way to access the Bible through videos, photos and real life experiences uploaded by millions.

The Virtual Video Bible offers the entire text of the Bible – from Genesis to Revelation – which is brought to life by accompanying videos for every chapter. Line by line, the Bible comes to life using GodTube.com's 800,000 hours of video, which range from music videos to comedy to sermons and a wide array of user-generated content.

When a user scrolls over a verse or passage in the Virtual Video Bible, videos, pictures and comments related to that specific scripture appear on-screen.

Also in time for Christmas, GodTube.com is launching the world's first Virtual Video Prayer Wall which will enable people around the world - from China to Afghanistan to Arkansas - to join together virtually and pray for those in need, including U.S. soldiers far from home and families who have lost their homes in the recent wildfires and floods.

Patterned after the popular Christian practice of prayer chains and vigils that involve millions of people, GodTube.com takes the prayer wall high-tech. The revolutionary Virtual Video Prayer Wall allows users to post a prayer request on GodTube.com where it could be seen by millions and answered. The Virtual Video Prayer Wall enables people to post prayer requests through a video prayer blog and add home videos and pictures for those in need of prayer. Individuals can respond to prayers posted on the prayer wall by entering text, uploading pictures and even uploading video responses.

"It's the largest Bible experience on Earth. You can watch the Bible as told through the experience of millions," explains Chris Wyatt, CEO of GodTube.com. "The Prayer Wall itself is an answer to prayer, for those in need of prayer. It's hope and inspiration for the Christmas season and year round. There are millions of people waiting to pray for you at GodTube.com."

The newly popular GodTube.com draws more than 10 million people and is experiencing explosive growth. The website set the record as the No. 1 fastest growing website in the United States during its first official launch month, according to ComScore.
