Google released a new video this week that shows a group of Android enthusiasts building the new Jelly Bean display that is now in front of Building 44 at Googleplex.

The company placed the statue in front of the building yesterday morning in preparation for the announcement of its upcoming Android 4.1, JellyBean OS.

It is surrounded by some their popular representations for past Android software including a cupcake, an éclair, gingerbread, and froyo.

Google is expected to unveil the Android 4.1 tomorrow at Google I/O keynote.

The company has not made any announcements regarding the new OS, but has provided the public with plenty of hints towards the choice of that name for Android 4.1.

It was even called JellyBean in a checkout screen in the Google Play store.

DroidLife posted up screenshots last week that showed Google listing the new software as Android 4.1, JellyBean.

The website also found other proof of this in an XDA Developers forum where a user posted similar image for the unlocked Galaxy Nexus available in Google Play.

Little is known about its features and UI Improvements at the moment.

The latest version of Android software available is Android 4.0.4, Ice Cream Sandwich. ICS launched on the Galaxy Nexus smartphone that was released at the end of last year. Ice Cream Sandwich is currently being used on 7.1 percent of all Android devices, according to a Google bi-monthly report released earlier this month.

The ICS upgrade for the Galaxy S2 rolled out at the beginning of this week for AT&T customers in the U.S. so that percentage should receive a significant increase within the next few months.
