Special Vehicle Races is believed to be one of the next downloadable content (DLC) to be released for "GTA 5 Online." When it will see the light of day remains to be seen although Rockstar is expected to roll out new content next month.

Apart from the Special Vehicle Races, "GTA 5 Online" players can also look forward to the mod for the Liberty City map from "GTA 4" being built by OpenIV team for the game.

In an interview with Red Bull, the team's leader, software engineer Yuriy Krivouchko, spoke about the mod, which will put the iconic map in "GTA 5" Online on its own island.

"We're not modders ourselves. We make tools for the modding community so they can do whatever they want. We enjoy creating the tools and undergoing the research process to allow that to happen," Krivouchko said.

"I think what we want to achieve with this Liberty City mod is to make it a base for other mods. People will be able to expand Liberty City with their own content and maybe even some missions or activities. Also, I hope the ability to have both maps in one game will open new possibilities for GTA video creators," he went on to say.
