GTA 5 Online Heists Could Arrive for Users In February 2015

GTA 5 fans know that the game is one of the most exciting and exhilarating games around, but game developers know that in order for users to stay loyal to the game, new content must be rolled out at least a few times a year to keep things fresh.

One of the most awaited patches for GTA 5 was the Heists DLC, which was previously reported to be released before the GTA 5 for PC will be released. But because of the delays to this patch, a lot of players have abandoned the game and moved on to others.

Now, GTA 5 fans might get back onboard again, as a recent rumor surrounding the game claims that the Online Heists are set to launch this month—specifically on February 24.

The rumors surfaced online this week after the PlayStation store listed that the GTA Online DLC would be accessible on the aforementioned date. The alleged entry in the website has been removed, but the date fits in with Rockstar's previous announcement that the Heists DLC will be released before GTA 5 for PC.

Last December, Rockstar Games shared some details about the online heists on their website. Aside from that, they have also released a trailer and screenshots along with release date information for the long-delayed game feature, which points to the game's debut "early in 2015".

According to the game developer, GTA 5 online heists let players team up on elaborate missions throughout Los Santos and Blaine County. Players will have new vehicles, weapons, and clothing at their disposal during these heists. Heists include a bank robbery and a prisoner rescue heist, among others.

"These will require tight communication and coordination, with players taking on specified roles at each point to accomplish multiple objectives on the way to each Heist's epic finale," Rockstar said on their Newswire.

Rockstar Games has yet to comment on the release date rumor as of the moment.
