Hackers Replace Bomb-Making Instructions with Cupcake Recipes in Terrorist Magazine

British spy agents from MI6 have reportedly hacked into a terrorist magazine and replaced instructions telling potential Islamic extremists how to make bombs with recipes for “The Best Cupcakes in America”.

A report by the Associated Press explains how the British hackers “managed to hack into the extremist Inspire magazine, replacing its bomb-making instructions with a recipe for cupcakes”.

It has been reported by The Daily Telegraph that the recipe used was actually “The Best Cupcakes in America” originally published by the Ellen DeGeneres chat show.

The terror magazine “Inspire” is a well-known English-language magazine produced by al Qaida somewhere in the Arabian Peninsula.

The magazine is created in PDF-format and then sent to registered extremist websites and email addresses interested in its destructive content.

In an edition created last year, the magazine ran with a special feature titled “Make a Bomb in the Kitchen of Your Mom”.

However, British spy agents were able to hack into the pages and decided the best course of action would be to erase the detailed bomb-making instructions and replace them with cake recipes.

So rather than precise outlines on how to make a life-threatening bomb, terrorists were treated to instructions for mojito cupcakes “made of white rum cake and draped in vanilla buttercream”, and rocky road cupcakes that cautioned: “warning: sugar rush ahead!”

Reports also indicated that the hackers erased special articles written by Osama bin Laden himself, as well as pieces written by his deputy Ayman al-Zawahiri.
