'Hangover' Reunion on 'SNL' Triggers Laughs
"Hangover" stars Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper, and Ed Helm have made waves after reuniting on the weekend's episode of "Saturday Night Live."
In preparation for the premiere of the third installment to the "Hangover" films, Galifianakis offered his comedic talents to live television over the weekend.
The hit comedy was first released in 2009, with the film's sequel "The Hangover II" following in 2011.
On Saturday, Galifianakis served as host of "SNL" one again while Of Mice and Men were the musical guests. The night started off with a funny monologue by the "Due Date" star before the joining the rest of the "SNL" cast members.
Then, later on, during a skit where Galifianakis portrayed a Jennifer Aniston impersonator, the actor was joined by his "Hangover" co-stars Cooper and Helm.
Galifianakis donned a long blonde wig, a "Friends" t-shirt and skirt intended to mimic Aniston while he pretended to conduct an Aniston look-alike contest.
When "Radley Cooper" and "Ted Pelms" appeared also in blonde wigs, Galifianakis expressed disappointment over their black and denim outfits.
"They're not even wearing 'Friends' t-shirts," the actor complained during the show.
When "SNL" actors Nasim Pedradand Taran Killam questioned the t-shirt comment, Galifianakis added, "Why would she wear it? Oh, I don't know, because she got it for free at work!"
The humorous skit then included the actors collaborating on a rendition of Dionne Warwick's "That's What Friends Are For."

Meanwhile, the skit was likely a promotion of the upcoming "Hangover III," which is due in theaters May 24.
Although Aniston did not appear on the "SNL" episode, the "Wanderlust" star and Galifianakis have worked together before - on the "Funny or Die" show "Between Two Ferns" in 2011.
"SNL" airs on NBC Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. EST.
