'High School DxD' Season 4 Updates: Anime Series to Arrive in 2018

After all the speculations, it is now confirmed that the fourth season of the popular anime series "High School DxD" is finally arriving next year.

While there were some who thought that "High School DxD" would not return for another season run, it has been recently announced that the popular anime series is returning for its season 4 next year, although no exact release date has been attached to it yet.

The announcement was made during a panel at Fantasia Bunko Festival 2017, where it was also revealed that the upcoming season of the anime series will be officially called "High School DxD Hero."

Apart from the announcement of the anime's release date, the very first promotional video for the anime series was also released at the panel. As the video features the protagonist Issei fighting a demon named Sairaorg Bael and being seduced by the anime's major heroines, it goes without saying that the appetite of the avid fans of the anime series has been further whetted.

However, it has been learned that the upcoming season of the anime series will deliver some changes that will further set it apart from its previous three seasons. For one thing, "High School DxD" will now be made in a different studio, Passione, as it moves away from TNK, which created the first three seasons of the anime series.

"High School DxD" season 4 will also feature a new villain, Cao Cao, who, in its light novel counterpart, is the leader of the Hero Faction of the terrorist organization Khaos Brigade, which explains why the word "Hero" is affixed to the title of the upcoming season. As the anime series' season 4 will be based on the 9th and 10th volumes of its light novel origin, fans are looking forward to the series' version of the exciting battle between Sairaorg Bael and Cao Cao.
