'House Of Cards' Season 4 News: Trailer Released, Season Premieres On March 4

Netflix has revealed the premiere date of the much-awaited fourth season of political drama series "House of Cards" through the release of this season's first teaser trailer. According to a report in IGN, the show is returning to the small screen on March 4.

The 30-second teaser trailer caught the attention not only of the show's fans but also of the public because it was made to look like a presidential campaign video for Kevin Spacey's character, President Frank Underwood.

The trailer called Frank Underwood as someone who "refuses to settle" and someone who promises to bring "a new day" to America, where people are employed, where soldiers come home to their families and where everyone sleeps soundly. Towards the end of the trailer, Underwood says, "America, I am only getting started." It then ends with his campaign title FU (Frank Underwood) 2016 as well as a website address (FU2016.com). According to another report in SlashFilm, fans of the show can go to the website and look for Easter eggs about the upcoming season.

Netflix also took to Twitter to announce the series' premiere date, together with a picture of what looks like a campaign poster for Underwood's presidential run in 2016.

Another report in Pop Sugar rounded up several things about Season 4 that have been revealed so far. The first of these is the confirmation of Neve Campbell joining the cast as a series regular. Although her character is still under wraps, some reports are saying that she may be part of the new power couple that will challenge First Couple Frank and Claire Underwood. Another season 4 tidbit is the new challenge that the First Couple will be faced with in the person of another younger and equally ambitious couple. Season 4 will also still show the Underwood marriage on the rocks, after Claire stormed out on Frank in the finale of the previous season. Doug, on the other hand, will be working with Frank again in the next season, after getting on his good side again towards the end of season 3.
