How Will Studying the Bible Help Me?

. . . present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15

Learning all you can at school is important. You won't have to be ashamed when you get your grades. Learning will help you prepare for life. Studying the Bible is even more important. It will help you be approved, or pleasing, to God like our verse says.

Studying the Bible will help you in other ways, too. You will find many promises from God that you can believe. They will help you when you are having problems or are afraid. You will learn what God is like. You will see that you can trust Him completely.
