Hulk rumors have continued to swirl, with the latest news being that Mark Ruffalo has stepped forward to seemingly smash rumors about "Planet Hulk." Ruffalo revealed what is in store for his Marvel character, taking to social media site Twitter to explain to fans that they will not be seeing Hulk again until "Avengers 2."

Ruffalo tweeted, "A lot of folks have been asking about the Next Hulk. The next time you see my Hulk it will be in the Avengers2. No plans for stand alone."

He added, "I am not giving up on another stand alone HULK. But it's not in the works right now. One never knows what the future will bring."

Some have taken this to mean that Hulk will not be appearing in any movies until Avengers 2, however, some have still maintained that Hulk could possibly be seen in some cameo roles.

What is for sure; it seems that there will not be a stand alone Hulk movie until at least 2016, which is something more analysts had predicted.

Joss Whedon also recently said at the Glasgow Film Festival: "Hulk is a tricky son of a *****. He's the Claudio of superheroes. Because the problem is it's a very popular character, but it's not a superhero. Half of it's a superhero, half of it's a werewolf. And you can't structure it like a superhero movie, you can't light it like a superhero movie. How do you develop that?"

He added, "It would be extremely difficult. The one thing you would have in your favour would be Mark Ruffalo. But right now I don't know if they have plans to do that or not, because he works so well as part of a greater whole, but by himself, it's tough. I don't envy the guys who went before."
