Illinois Tops 2011 List of Best Christian Workplaces
According to a recent survey by the Best Christian Workplaces Institute (BCWI), Illinois appears to be the top state for businesses that provide the best Christian working environment.
Locations were ranked by judging them in a range of areas including missions, schools, and camps.
Illinois came out as home to seven employers that provide the best Christian workplaces, according to BCWI's 2011 list, with most of those employers in the education sector.

Those six organizations include:
Christian Heritage Academy (Chicago)
InterVarsity Press (Westmont)
Lincoln Christian University (Lincoln)
Olivet Nazarene University (Bourbonnais)
Samaritan Ministries International (Peoria)
Wheaton Academy (West Chicago)
Illinois dominated last year's list of Best Christian Workplaces as well.
To compile the list of Best Christian Workplaces, BCWI uses an employee engagement survey with more than 50 questions covering issues like job satisfaction, commitment, Christian witness, teamwork, communications, pay and benefits, and more.
