iOS 6 WiFi Problems Begin to Plague Apple Users

iOS 6 Wi-Fi problems started being reported shortly after the software launched on all Apple devices last week.

Customers using the latest Apple build are experiencing issues with Wi-Fi connectivity. There have been scores of reports regarding the matter posted in Apple forums.

The problem was believed to have been resolved when a special webpage that iDevices used to check if a network requires log-in credentials was accidentally taken down and brought back up. However, that was not the case, according to YouMobile.org.

The reason behind the Wi-Fi connectivity issue still has not been identified by Apple, but since it appears to be a software problem, the company should be able to repair it soon.

Some Apple users have already reported that the Wi-Fi connectivity has gotten better over the past few days.

An iOS 6 Jailbreak for iPhone 5 users has reportedly surfaced in new images showing the device running it.

The pictures were released by Grant Paul, who provided a string of screen grabs on Twitter that showcase what appears to be Cydia installed on iOS 6. However, the authenticity in the pictures cannot be determined, according to YouMobile.org.

Paul claims the jailbreak took 30 minutes to perform and that it was easier to use on the iPhone 5 than on the 4S.

An iOS 6 jailbreak for iPhone 4 users is also now available.

The iPhone Dev-Team's Redsn0w jailbreak is now compatible with iOS 6 on several devices including the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and the fourth generation iPod Touch.

This jailbreak is tethered, which means that the procedure has to be repeated every time an Apple device needs a reboot.

This redsn0w jailbreak was first released back in June when Apple made iOS 6 available to all developers.
