iPhone 5 Lightning Accessory Deals Now Available

There are several iPhone 5 lightning accessory deals now available for Christmas shoppers.

Prices for lightning-based docks, car chargers, adapters, and other accessories have been slashed by various retailers for the holiday shopping season.

For docks, interested customers have the choice of purchasing the accessory from different third-party companies such as Belkin, JBL, ElevationLab, TheLightningDock, iPhone5mod, and Braeburn Acoustics.

Here's a list of prices for docks made by those companies and their features.


Belkin: $30-Includes a built-in foldaway AUX jack and audio out for headphones and external speakers

JBL: Micro OnBeat-$99.95 and OnBeat Venture-$199.95-Both are lightning docks. Larger version can accommodate iPad Minis.

ElevationLab: $89-$109-Basic dock station

iPhone5mod: $40-Basic dock station

Braeburn Acoustics: $24.95, $69.95 and $99.95. Price based on different finishes

Car Chargers

Griffin: $22.99 pricing special. Normally costs $25

Belkin: $29.99

Ionic: $24.95, $34.95. More expensive version comes with wall charger.


For lightning to USB cables, customers can purchase Apple's that costs around $20 or buy a third party version for as low as $9.50 on

For lighting to 30-pin connectors, customers can purchase one from Apple for $30. The Amazon generic versions can be purchased for as low as $6. 8-inch cables will run at least $8.

For lightning to USB, customers can purchase one made by iPhone5Mod that is retractable for just $10.

For lightning digital AV adapters, customers can purchase Apple's version from its online store for $50. There are currently no third-party companies offering this accessory. Apple's lightning to VGA adapter is around the same price.

Scosche, another third-party company has announced that it will be releasing a handful of new lightning accessories including a 5W and 12W car and wall charger along with a retractable lightning to USB cable.
