The iPhone 4 is currently available in both black and white.

The next generation iPhone should hit stores sometime in early October with pre-orders beginning by the end of this month.

The new iPhone is set to be released on the U.S.’s four major network service providers including AT&T, Verizon, and newcomers to carrying the device, T-Mobile and Sprint.

Apple has not confirmed any official information regarding the iPhone 5.

The company is supposed to hold a media event sometime this month which should reveal the details for the next generation iPhone.

Sprint has reported that it will be offering unlimited data plans for the iPhone on its network.

T-Mobile’s parent company Deutsche Telekom has already started taking pre-orders for the next generation iPhone in Germany.

Both T-Mobile and Sprint have scheduled events which conveniently fall around the same time the iPhone 5 is rumored to be released, which is in early October.

The new iPhone is rumored to sport a larger display screen, along with an 8 megapixel camera.
